Hello, hello, its been a while but The Kicks have been sorting a few things out. We are all moving into the same house…….good or bad? Hmm we’ll have to see. I say good! Plus we now have a booking agent starting to work with us. That’s pretty big news for us!! Lets see how it goes and see where they and us can take the Kicks!
Anywho, this weekend sees our attention return to gigging, first up is The George & Vulture in Shoreditch. Although relatively unknown as a venue, its our local boozer. Normally hosting acoustic acts and open mike nights, we’ve talked the extremely welcoming landlord into letting an un-signed band (us) take control of the entertainment this Saturday night!
Soooooo…. we & two other bands are playing full sets for a change at the same time as drinking ourselves silly. Friends, family, fans, passers by and anyone else is more than welcome, plus its totally FREEEE!!!! At last unsigned band nights for FREE! Yey!!
The George and Vulture can be found on Pitfield Street, just off Old Street. When leaving Old street tube stop via exit 2, take the 1st left after the fire station (where city best kebab is). Walk straight up until the roundabout and you’ll see it on the corner (next to cheep booze on Haberdasher street)

Its more of a party than anything. good music, cheap ‘ish’ drinks,
friendly atmosphere and plenty of laughs for all!
