Woke up in windy, wet Birmingham and had a stodgy breakfast. Played the first date of our afternoon school tour at Small Heath School. I don’t think they really cared! Still, Caan worked his magic in the little Q&A thing at the end. He’d picked out the class clown and had him singing JLS by the end!! Funny times. Don’t worry it’s on film.
Went into Kerrang Radio in Birmingham after that. We’d been in a few weeks before and promised we’d pop back in for another session for Q and Kerrang while on tour with La Roux. They’re cool guys there, especially Alex – best radio interviewer – we always have a good laugh.
The gig at O2 Academy in Birmingham that evening was sick. We smashed it. We literally rocked that crowd. About 2,000 people again. The crowds are brilliant, we love them. They’re so responsive and very chatty afterwards. Hello again to everyone we’ve met so far. We love you all..
Played a great school gig earlier today at Unity College in Southampton. Hello again. They were funny. Joe got called Borat a few times. Apparently Chazz is actually Jedward… somehow Caan escaped unscathed!
Got a day off in Bristol today if anyone’s around?
