So, the end of ‘oh nine’ is nigh and what a year it has been. On a personal note for TOTR it has been a very good year. We were fortunate enough to begin our relationship with Boxfresh, something that so far has been nothing but positive. It has given TOTR a platform to promote itself and show the people what it’s all about. Long may it continue.

The continued growth of the night has been steady and consistent, also the quality of the acts that have performed this year has been amazing. We’ve had the likes of  Maverick Sabre, The Kemistry, Random Impulse, Kerry Leatham & Ghostpoet to name but a few all perform.

2009 so far has been the year for a lot of firsts. The first time an African American has been sworn into office and the first time TOTR have released an album, expect more. (That was only two firsts for 2009, but you get my point). Ha!

The compilation album was released at the beginning of this month and features some of the best acts that have graced the TOTR stage this year. Also, including a mix from DJ LoK the compilation album is a must have. If you haven’t downloaded it yet you can do so for free by clicking here.

I would like to take this moment to say thank you to all of the acts that have performed at TOTR this year, all the DJs, all of the people who have attended a TOTR event, The Victoria and Boxfresh thank you. Thank you to everyone who has supported TOTR, talked about it, blogged a flyer or who generally appreciates what we do. 

A  more personal thank you to Jessie, Milly, Ayesha, DJ LoK and Daryl you guys rock. Anybody else that I may have forgot to mention, thank you!

So, as another year ends and a new one begins there’s no time to think about what has happened but about what is going to happen! Look out for us in 2010 grinding away and promoting more good music.
