TOTR predicts – week 2

The World Cup is 10 days strong and counting, and my prediction of Holland winning the WC is still on track as they beat Japan 1-0. Robin Van Persie is still yet to score but I’m not worried because I know he has has goals in him.

As another week passes, that means more talking points and yes England are involved once again.

Kaka’s sending off (which should never have been), another dull England performance and Rooney’s outburst are just some of the weeks talking points.

Kaka was sent off after being shown a second yellow card when Ivory Coast midfielder Kader Keita went down holding his face following a harmless collision. England drew 0-0 with Algeria, a disappointing result which then saw them booed off the pitch and Wayne Rooney vented his frustration.

“nice to see home fans boo ya, that’s what loyal support is”

How about play well and win Mr Rooney, then talk!

TOTR, reckons if England were to reach the quarter finals then that would be a good tournament for them. Semi finals and they would have over-achieved. Their next game is against Slovenia on Wednesday, lets see what they can do but don’t expect too much.
