Frisco is the latest artist to come out of the prodigious collective Boy Better Know, he is truly reflective of the outstanding talent coming out of the UK streets today. Frisco’s been making music since he was at school, but started to take it seriously in 2003, when he realised what a good MC he was.

2004 saw him release his first mixtape, Murda Mixtape vol 1 which was shortly followed by Vol 2. In 2006 Frisco released his third mixtape, which was titled Back 2 Da Lab Vol. 1, featuring the rest of BBK. The follow up to this Back 2 Da Lab Vol. 2 became one of the most highly acclaimed mixtapes of recent times and is recognised as one of the best series in grime.

Frisco has enjoyed unprecedented success this year. He’s featured with some of the biggest artists of 2009, from Goldielocks ‘Wasteman’, to global recognition as part of the BBK remix of Jay Sean’s huge US billboard hit ‘Stay’. As well as this he’s been busy working on his debut album and putting out some of the UK’s biggest club hits with BBK.

Everything Frisco has achieved so far, has been done independently from his; mixtapes, albums, videos and t-shirts.
